Viña La Rosa
CACHAPOAL VALLEY, CHILE
La Capitana Barrel Reserve
La Capitana is named after the tallest palm tree in the LaPalmeria estate. These wines are distinguished by their harmonious balance between rich fruit character and the complexity of aging in French oak barrels. Contemporary and stylish.
A full bodied, rich and smooth wine with typical Merlot characteristics of sweet plums, blackberries, black cherries and bitter chocolate. Soft round tannins on the palate, this wine has a long finish and is enhanced by aging in French oak barrels for nine months.

Inky blackish-purple hue. Ripe black cherry aromas show good varietal character with an expensive oak accent. A lush entry leads a rounded, full-bodied palate with supple tannins. Velvety, rounded finish with soft acidity. A rich, rounded style to drink in youth.
