Similar in taste and appearance to Merlot, this varietal is unique to Chile. Full bodied, deeply colored with soft round overtones of wonderful ripe fruit.

Deep, saturated ruby hue. Ripe, pure black cherry aromas carry a minty sweet-oak accent. A lush entry leads a generous, full-bodied palate with a ripe core of fruit and lean tannins. Carries a subtle herbaceous note through the oak-tinged finish. A big Carmenère to drink with hearty foods.
