RATING: 89 points (Highly Recommended)
Saturated, inky blackish-ruby hue. Maturing brown spice and ripe black fruit aromas carry a leathery, gamey edge. A lush entry leads a rounded, full-bodied palate with a firm core of deep fruit flavors and a lavish oak undertone. Chewy tannins mark the dusty, spicy finish. A fat, flashy style to drink in youth--try with hearty winter stews.
