Type of Soil:                                        Limestone, well-drained.

Average Output:                                 30 hl/hectare for 3800 plantations per hectare.

Time of Harvest:                                 Last week of August 2009.

Vinification Details:                            Hand picked grapes. Initially the grapes are pressed “lightly”, after which they rest and settle for 36 hours at a temperature between 8°C to 10°C. 50% of the wine is fermented in barrels, the other 50% ferments in tanks.

When Bottled:                                    November 2009.

Maturation Potential:                         2011 - 2012

Winemaker’s Comments:                   Golden green colour. Hints of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. The wine has a beautiful balance of fruit and acidity. It is an excellent choice for a large variety of meals, starting as appetitive and enjoyed with all seafood and creamy dishes.
